Margaret Wilson Zip-up Hoodie

$50.00

This shirt features the classic illustration of Margaret Wilson by John Millais (1862). Margaret Wilson was a young Scottish martyr from Wigtown, Scotland who held an unwavering faith in Christ as head of the church. Margaret refused to swear an oath declaring James VII as head of the church, and she was subsequently executed. Margaret was tied to a stake in the tidal estuary of Wigtown, and she drowned as the tide came in- being forced to watch her friend--an older woman named Margaret MacLachlan-- drown first.
